FREE VIRTUAL CONSULTATION
I offer a free virtual consultation on most Wednesdays. If that time does not work for you, please reach out and I will try to accommodate your schedule so we can meet virtually. At this time, I have weekday appointments still available. My evening and Saturday slots are full.
Most people do not want to repeat their story to multiple counselors and for that reason consultations are a wonderful way to see if a counselor will be a good fit for you and your needs. The consultation appointment I offer is brief and not intended to be therapeutic. At the outset, I will ask you to share a general idea of why you are presenting for counseling (i.e., anxiety, adjustment to a life transition, marriage issues, etc.). The purpose of this is so that I can assess whether I will be a good fit for your presenting issue. Additionally, I will explain my style, telehealth policy, late cancel fee, billing, and measurement based care during the consultation. At that time, you can decide whether you want to proceed with scheduling an intake appointment with me.

CANCELLATIONS
We require a minimum of 48-hours notice for cancellations. If you would like to switch your appointment from in person to telehealth - that is easy (as long as you are located in Idaho at the time of the telehealth session). Just let me know, and you will not incur a fee for this change. Otherwise, clients who cancel under that requirement and for any reason, or do not show for their appointment, will be charged a $75 fee.
CRISIS
Ever Forward Counseling x Neurofeedback does not have a crisis line or crisis monitoring so if you are a current client in crisis or this is an emergency please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please dial 988. You will be routed to the suicide and crisis lifeline. Visit call 988 Idaho for other Idaho resources.
